ASIS International Announces Call for Presentations for its 8th European Security Conference

Brussels, Belgium (9 July 2008): Following a very successful 7th European Security Conference which was held in Barcelona, Spain on 13-16 April, ASIS International has announced that it is now accepting abstract submissions for its 2009 European Security Conference.

The 8th ASIS International European Security Conference will take place on 26-29 April 2009 in Montreux, Switzerland. The theme of the conference will be "Taking security management to the next level" and will feature more than 33 high-level educational sessions for and by international security experts.

The conference will cover the entire spectrum of security topics ranging from supply chain security, loss prevention, and piracy to terrorism, executive protection, intellectual property rights, and more. Abstracts can be submitted here: http://asis.confex.com/asis/2009/cfp.cgi.

The deadline for submissions is 15 October 2008. Presentations for the conference will be selected by the Montreux programme committee in December 2008.

New this year is the possibility for vendor companies to present case studies, product demonstrations and best practices in a fourth sponsored track.
